Bubble tea love...

So for those who have never tried Bubble tea its basically flavoured fruit and milk teas with tapioca balls at the bottom of the drink. I wasn't a big fan of the milk teas when I first tried them so that put me off bubble tea because I thought they all tasted like that, but once I had the fruit tea ones I was in love! My lovely friend Helen has opened a small bubble tea stall called Sweet Bubbles in the heart of Sloane Square, just opposite the Saatchi Gallery. I went there on her opening day to support her (and steal some bubble tea drinks of course!)
Here are some of the pictures I took....Enjoy x

The simple things...

My Style

My style is basically a constant variation of these items. I'm currently obsessed with kimonos and my wardrobe is turning into a floral explosion of kimonos! I also love plain shirts and I own various ones in different shades, I feel that shirts are so easy to dress up and down. Necklaces are an accessory must for me, the way I style my hijab helps me to show off any necklace I wear to help brighten up my outfit. I've recently developed an obsession with round sunglasses and I'm in desperate need to add more in to my collection for my upcoming holiday. Also I have a new best friend in the form of my new Sony A5000 camera which I'm hoping will allow me to take more OOTD pictures from now on....To see more of my style follow my Instagram instagram.com/suzanadan/ x

Saatchi Gal part 2...

Naturally walking around an art gallery for an hour or so you tend to get a bit peckish. After taking a few pretty pictures my lovely friend Idil Aka The Modest Doll and I went to Caffe Concerto which is just across the street from the Saatchi Gallery. They serve pretty cakes and probably the best hot chocolate I've had in my entire life!

Saatchi Gal...

There are so many free admission galleries all around London that I've always wanted to visit but I never really got the chance to...until now! The Saatchi Gallery is in the trendy area of Sloane Square and they are currently holding an art exhibitions by African and Latin American artists. I don't know much about art but some of the pieces have an amazing vibe to them that can be appreciated by anyone.
Here are some of my favourite pieces...Enjoy x

A Sabyasachi dream...

Sabyasachi Mukherjee is an Indian fashion designer who I have always been in love. Sabyasachis 2015 collection "Big Love" started off with one of the most amazing fashion editorials I have ever seen, he then followed this by a beautiful runway event to showcase his designs. I love how modest these clothes are and I am absolutely obsessed with the accessories he used like the round sunglasses and Tiger purses.

This was the first editorial that I saw and fell in love with...Just look at how cool they look!!

Sabyasachi's '70s Bollywood-inspired line has lots of floaty boho skirts and print-on-print outfits that are breath taking, if you already know me you would know that my favourite fashion trend is mixing prints especially stripes and florals. I've picked some of my favourite looks from the runway to share with you...

Make-up shoot...

I'm don't really see myself as someone who is very 'Posey' I prefer taking natural pictures with goofy and pout-y faces, So when up and coming Make Up and Hijab Stylist Sheuli Nessa asked me to do a make up shoot to promote her upcoming business I was dreading it! For her shoot Sheuli had this amazing idea to get together girls with different skin tones and from different cultural backgrounds and combine that with her fantastic make up skills. Idil and I took part in the first shoot wearing traditional Somali clothing aka Dirac.

Here are some of the promotional pictures and some behind the scenes snaps...Enjoy x
